MOUNTAIN CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL: ENGLISH, MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE INTERNATIONAL RESULTS ABOVE WORLD AVERAGES FOR THE THIRD CONSEQUTIVE YEAR.
Mountain Cambridge School’s Grade 6 and Form 1/Grade 8 subject averages in English, Mathematics and Science were above the world subject averages, an amazing achievement!
We wish to congratulate the learners and their teachers on their excellent external Cambridge International Results. In November 2014, these students wrote an external internationally recognised examination; these papers are set up and marked at the University of Cambridge. This is a true international benchmarking.
They received a total of 60 out of 44 learners that wrote these papers; subject distinctions during the November 2014 CIE External exams in these two grades. The Grade 6 International recognised results delivered 32 subject distinctions. And the LSL/form 1 external results delivered 28 subject distinctions.
We are certainly proud of the academic stars but it is important that we reflect on each learner’s achievement. They all embraced the classroom and its demands and, together with their teachers, they nurtured and extended their individual abilities. Well done!
